Who we are — Who are AHEC's Members
AHEC is the leading international trade association for the U.S. hardwood industry, representing the committed exporters among U.S. hardwood companies and all the major hardwood product trade associations. From Washington, DC and six overseas offices, AHEC conducts a worldwide promotional program with activities in more than 35 countries. AHEC offices in London, Osaka, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Seoul and Shanghai are strategically located near key hardwood markets. AHEC’s members and overseas offices service the growing global demand for U.S. hardwood and represent the full range of U.S. hardwood products including: lumber, veneer, plywood, flooring, molding, and dimension materials.
AHEC is a special project of the American Forest & Paper Association (AF&PA) and an an agricultural cooperator with the Foreign Agricultural Service of United States Department of Agriculture.
Contribution Forms
AHEC's overseas programs promoting American hardwoods operate on a cost-share basis; our program dollars are determined by the reported time and money the industry-regardless of membership status with AHEC-puts into its own export activities as reported on this form for companies and this form for associations. |
