What We Do Giving U.S. Hardwood Exporters The Edge
The American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC) is committed to giving its members a sharp competitive edge in meeting the growing worldwide demand for American hardwood products.
No single hardwood company or association alone can promote its products intensively worldwide. Nor can it keep track of every critical international market trend and export opportunity and personally educate potential foreign buyers about U.S. hardwood products. But united in AHEC, they can.
In addition to its member companies, AHEC serves the export needs of all major product trade association, including:
Strategic Locations, Effective Promotion
From Washington, DC and five overseas offices, AHEC conducts a worldwide promotion program with activities in more than 35 countries. AHEC offices in London, Osaka, Hong Kong, Mexico City, and Shanghai are strategically located near key hardwood markets.
As an agricultural cooperator with the Foreign Agricultural Service of United States Department of Agriculture, AHEC works with the government to broaden its impact on and outreach into international markets.
